Element 78, Boston Cover Band

Joe Lemieux, the singer, was a contestant on season 5 of American Idol and made it into the first few rounds of competition and even got to go to Hollywood to compete.

Derrick Campbell teaches guitar at Nobles and Greenough in Dedham, Music Maker Studios in Brighton, and the Boston Center for Adult Education.

John Kerr teaches drums and conducts drum clinics nationwide.  His transcriptions have been published in Modern Drummer magazine, and he’s also performed with the Boston Symphony orchestra as a percussionist.

Greg Reinauer studied at the Berklee College of Music and played with the original band Melodeego before joining Element 78.  You can find out more about Melodeego by clicking here. Greg also teaches music at the Plugged In Teen Band Program in Needham.

Element 78 plays 3-4 nights a week as a full band, trio, and duo at the following clubs:

Private Parties and Weddings

Element 78 has also played special events such as Loon Mountain’s Monster Mud Run 2014, Harborfest 2012 in Boston, and the American Heart Association’s Heartwalk fundraiser 2013 and 2014, as well as numerous private parties and weddings.  If you’re interested in hiring for a private party or a wedding reception, please contact derrick@element78band.com
